The Inspiring Journey of Hindprakash

1942

The group business was started by late Shri Tejmalji Mangal at Beawar, in the province of Rajasthan, west part of India. The main activities were trading and distribution of Paper and Chemicals.

1951

Big expansions were carried out by forward integration i.e. entering into manufacturing of exercise note books and allied paper examination of paper and chemical trading & distribution business.

1962

A new branch office was opened in the major city of Rajasthan named Ajmer. It was headed by Shri Shankarlalji Mangal.

1975

Again a new branch office was opened in the capital city of Rajasthan, named Jaipur. This was following up with flourishing demand and need of the business.

1984

Group opened its new office at Ahmedabad, in the province of Gujarat, which is called the Manchester of textile India.

1987

Group started venturing out for manufacturing of Dye Intermediates, as an locational advantage of Ahmedabad. This was the point from where group also started timing more and more professionals in its working and ownership.

1991

Group started its first dye intermediates manufacturing plant, mainly producing Naphthalenes and Benzene derivatives.

1997

Group again carried out expansion in the field of manufacturing dyestuff at forward integration, in addition to manufacturing and acting as a buying and selling house.

2001

Group stopped manufacturing of major dye intermediates and in turn started more focus on manufacturing of dyes and converting itself as a buying and selling house.

2005

Group made major investments in the field of logistics to support its manufacturing and trading and distribution activities. These expansion included building of distribution warehouses, etc.

2008

During June 01, 2008, group shifted to a single point location at Vatva, Ahmedabad, & shifting its corporate head-quarters, registered office to this consolidated business. Group also incepted this year, a technical JV with 'LONSEN' Group China, dedicated to start manufacturing of different auxiliaries in India.

2011

Group incorporated as a separate business unit in standard at Singapore after conversion of all businesses in Singapore as 100% wholly owned subsidiary of the parent company.

2012

Hindprakash enters into an agreement with France based SNF Group for distribution of its range of thickeners and water treatment chemicals.

2014

The group further expands and increases its infrastructure facility by acquiring an SEZ unit in Kandla (KASEZ) to facilitate the international trade.

2016

Hindprakash expanded its horizon by venturing into agri-commodities with export of Rice and Pulses to several countries with addition of other products.

2017

HINDPRAKASH enters in its 75th year of business existence and incorporates a wholly owned subsidiary in UAE to support its global business. Hindprakash continues to expand, innovate and strive to add values to its products and services.

2018

Name of the Company was changed to Hindprakash Industries Private Limited and also the Company got converted into a public limited company and consequent upon conversion, the name of the Company was changed to Hindprakash Industries Limited.

2019

The Group ventures into manufacturing sector with purchase of close to 1,15,000 sq.mt. of land at GIDC SAYKHA. The proposed products to be manufactured are Dyes, Dyestuffs, Dye Intermediate, Textile Chemicals, Auxiliaries, Adhesives paint binders etc.

2020

To expand its manufacturing capacities the Group's Hindprakash Industries Limited was listed on NSE-SME platform on 27th January, 2020. The group also entered into a joint venture with Ecofine Colourchem Pvt. Ltd. to manufacture Specialty Dyestuffs

2021

The Group formed a strategic partnership with Orio Shanghai Colours Pvt. Ltd. to produce Food dyes and with Clariant to manufacture H Acid, Vinyl Sulfone and other Intermediates. Group also incepted a JV with Hindparagon Polyresins Pvt. Ltd. to manufacture all types of resin.

2022

Commercial production for Textile Auxiliaries, Binders and Adhesives starts at group company Hindprakash Overseas Pvt. Ltd. - Saykha.

2023

Hindprakash Industries start Production of HDPE Drums. Hindprakash continues to expand, innovate and strive to add values to its products and services.

2024

Group started its first dye intermediates manufacturing plant, mainly producing Naphthalenes and benzene derivatives.

2025

Hindprakash enters in the field of Paint Primers, Construction chemicals, etc. Hindprakash continues to expand, innovate and strive to add values to its products and services.
